Shifting reverberations
How can we use language to restore? For instance, how can language un-discipline a river? How can language re-enchant angry waters? How can language create roads of healing that translate our care into action? How can words be spaces of renewal and hope? Reflecting on words is reflection on oneself and others
This activation is a short invitation to use words to re-create worlds.
What are your words connecting, creating countering? What worlds are they making, re-making, recognising?

Shifting reverberations is shaped and defined by some of the most significant experiences we had in Brazil, Colombia and the UK – deep listening as a collective act and activation, and deep listening as an act of care that acknowledges the histories of resistance and kinship shared with us.
Words make worlds. Words write scores. The way we use words establishes intentions. Words here are spaces of kinship. Are also situated and specific and in some cases translatable to other estuaries and waters. But in all their textures refer to situated life experiences and worlds that counter globalised histories of climate change and its Western technocratic approach. We would like to borrow Alice Grandoit-Šutka ‘pockets of possibility’ - words are pockets of possibility.
